Join me in a nourishing mini-retreat set in a beautiful heated Yurt. Gift yourself with a moment of peace, with time to pause and rest.

STOP, PAUSE, REST & RE-SET

This is the time of year for deep rest, self care and self love. I am hear to help you gift yourself with a few hours 'just for you', allowing yourself to feel relaxed & nourished.

I invite you to join me in a beautiful Yurt, with fairy lights and a woodburner stove for a gorgeous toasty atmosphere.

Stepping inside you will be met with cups of homemade winter spiced homemade cordial or hot cocoa. Be guided through some restful relaxation and move your body with gentle Therapeutic movement, accessible for all abilities. This combines Therapeutic Yoga and gentle stretching, meeting your body wherever it is at, allowing your body to open with ease and softness.

I dreamed of weaving together all the things that I love, my passions and experience and sharing it with people. I know how each element has already helped both myself and others that I work with. I have now combined all of these together, creating this retreat for you.

I believe that everyone is unique and deserves a chance to feel the best they can.

I know so many of you can feel burnt out and overwhelmed at times, that you may have aches and pains you struggle to get rid of. You can change how you feel and I am here to help in a supportive way, that meets your body where it is at, without judgement or expectation.

I have over 23 years experience as a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor and have a passion for holistic health. I have trained in Therapeutic Yoga, a type of yoga that is accessible for everyone. I have the ability to adapt to your physical needs, with years of exerperience working with people.

I have my own private Physiotherapy Practice called Borehamwood Physio, which is part of Embodied Evolution and run Group Pilates Classes. I have also studied Sensory Herbalism and lead Wild Food Foraging & Plant Medicine Walks, introducing people to nature and the world around them.

Who is this suitable for?

  • This mini-retreat is for all abilities, as long as you are able to get up and down off the floor. Please contact me if you are unsure if this is suitable for you.
  • The Yurt is incredible and toasty and warm even in winter. You need to be happy with simpler toilet facilities. There is an indoor toilet which flushes in another building, but as the site is on a Farm the toilet floor can be muddy and the toilet is not luxurious.
  • You need to be comfortable with a rural setting as the path to the Yurt can be muddy and wet.

What is provided?

  • All Yoga mats and blocks are provided. Please bring your own if you prefer or a thicker mat if the thin yoga mats do not feel comfortable
  • Chairs can be provided for those who find it difficult to sit on the floor for a long time

  • Driving: Parking is available on the site at Soulland Yoga
  • Train: It is a 5-10 minute taxi ride from Elstree & Borehamwood Station on the Thameslink or 10-15 minutes from Stanmore on Jubilee line.

Combining Pilates and Therapeutic Yoga allow your body to move in a safe supported way. Some elements of YIN Yoga was also be included. As a Physiotherapist I understand how each person is unique and stretches / poses are adapted to suit each person.
