Deep Time and Foraging walk

Join Networking Through Nature and herbalist Nick of Hawthorn Herbs on Sunday the 26th of October 2025 for a morning of slowing down and reconnecting with nature in the countryside around Hertford.

Explore your relationship with the natural world through a transformative deep-time walk which invites you on a 4.6km journey through 4.6 billion years of Earth's history. Deepen your connection with all that surrounds you as well as the incredible events that made life on earth possible.

Along the way we will pause to hear the story unfold as well as to explore the autumnal flora and fauna that is beginning to appear in October.

We will finish at a local cafe or pub where there will be an option to stay for a warm drink or a late lunch after the walk.

A 10% donation will be made to the Deep Time Walk NGO in recognition of the use of the Deep Time Walk materials.
