Event description

How can you develop deeper, more productive relationships between team members? Clean Language offers a straightforward process to do just that, supporting clear communication and effective collaboration.

Work teams around the world are increasingly adopting Clean Language as a methodology to improve relationships within the team - and beyond it. They report that it fills a gap in the toolkit for easing the people- and communication-based challenges which tend to flare up wherever and whenever you’re under pressure.

Because it’s based on universal principles about how people tick, while recognising the uniqueness of each individual, it thrives on diversity and helps to achieve clarity of understanding across professional, geographical, cultural and other boundaries.

Clean Language can be used effectively with groups and teams in a number of ways. For example:

  • It can improve mutual understanding and appreciation, reducing misunderstandings and conflict and improving working relationships

  • It can provide a framework to support open, collaborative conversations while reducing “groupthink”

  • It can empower people to give and receive feedback in a way which dramatically reduces emotional stress, often leading to constructive behaviour change.

Clean Language looks deceptively simple, so it can be introduced quickly and easily in a variety of group situations, especially with groups of colleagues. It works well with teams that aren’t co-located, who hold their meetings over phone- and video-conference calls.

Once adopted more widely as a way of working together, it can support exceptional performance - for example, a tutor group of nine students at a UK university all achieved first class degrees after they used Clean approaches to support each others’ learning.

In this highly-interactive workshop, you will go deeper, and learn how to help others to do the same. You’ll experience the impact of some specific Clean Language techniques and explore how you can share them effectively in your work.

Price includes coffees and lunch.
