Description

Degree Apprenticeship National Conference: Delivering Quality and Social Mobility

On Wednesday 27th June 2018 Sheffield Hallam University is hosting a high profile national conference on Higher and Degree Apprenticeships.

The event is presented in partnership with the University Vocational Awards Council and Emerald Publications.

We will be joined by leading employer partners and experts from across the Further and Higher Education sector.

  • We welcome a forward thinking audience to explore best practice in apprenticeship work based learning, collaborative partnerships and innovative employer-driven programmes.

  • We will raise the debate around widening participation in higher education. Are apprenticeships the catalyst to a step change in social mobility?

It is time to translate three years of challenge into innovations for the future. We will be embracing a refreshed apprenticeship brand at all levels of higher education. This is a conference to further a cross-sector commitment to the high quality programmes for ambitious employers and apprenticeship routes designed for individuals with a will to succeed.

Any profit generated from the conference will be donated to The Hallam Fund. The Hallam Fund provides much needed support to our student and research community so that they can overcome barriers, access the best opportunities and take on some of the toughest challenges facing society today. The Hallam Fund helps students from under-represented and disadvantaged backgrounds, enables current students to access opportunities to develop their career paths and funds life-changing research.

The Call for Papers is now closed. If you have submitted a proposal we will be in touch shortly.
