Description

It's time for the Scottish Delib User Group 2020!

For anyone who works in public/stakeholder engagement and uses a Delib product, our user groups provide an excellent opportunity to share insight and best practice and hear what others in your field are up to. Whether you've been before or are new to user groups, we’d love to see you there. Attendance is free and lunch is provided.

Perth and Kinross Council are kindly hosting this year's user group which will take place on Thursday 30th April 2020 at Council Chambers in Perth.

Who is the user group for?

Anyone using a Delib product: Citizen Space, Dialogue or Simulator

Generally most organisations send one or two people but please get in touch via support@delib.net if you'd like to bring more people. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

What should I expect?

Expect talks on all things consultation and digital engagement and some workshop-type activities, along the lines of the following:

• An opportunity to meet fellow Delib product users from across local and central government and public bodies

• Show-and-tell of recent or upcoming engagement exercises by current users, reviewing the processes and challenges of how you work

• An update from Delib, including an overview of recent changes to the products

• Digital surgery on any other questions/topics requested. Let us know if there's a particular topic or feature you'd like to discuss or have explained.

Coffee and tea will be available from 9.45 before the event kicks off at 10.00.

A light lunch will be provided between 12.30 - 1.30 so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when booking your ticket.

This is our sixth Citizen Space & Dialogue User Group to be held in Scotland. If you're not sure what to expect, check out these learnings from our Scottish User Group last year.

We need you!

These sessions work best with real examples so we encourage individuals from attending organisations to give a talk. If you're interested in sharing your experiences with online consultation/engagement or you have a proven process for success, please email support@delib.net.

At previous user groups there have been talks on topics like building a consultation process that ensures good quality, how to structure analysis, digital transformation, managing promotion and how to create great content we've also had reports of good consultations (and bad ones) and what has been learnt from them, and much much more!
