About this event

We are delighted to be able to put on this free six week cookery course for local residents.

We’ll cover everything from smart shopping and meal prep hacks to adapting recipes to single portions, reducing waste, and cooking once to eat twice.

Each week focuses on practical skills and easy dishes that save money without sacrificing taste. By the end, participants will be confident in preparing balanced meals tailored to solo living, while keeping things exciting, affordable, and sustainable.

On this course you will also learn more about low energy devices such as air fryers, induction plates and pressure cookers, as well as exploring everyday approaches to using less energy and getting better food for less money.

This course is hands-on, sociable and good fun.

It includes a shared meal and a take-away.

This course takes place at the community room Sawyers Close, Dedworth, Windsor

This course is free and the booking fee is refunded on competion of the course.

Participants who complete the course will be gifted a low energy cookery device or a voucher towards one. (Terms apply)
