Event description
Informal workshop to discuss the types of projects we can support, how to develop a heritage project and the application process.

About this Event

The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports all sorts of projects that connect people and communities to heritage. Projects could include anything from capturing people’s memories of a particular event or daily life, researching people and place, looking after natural habitats and wildlife, celebrating sporting traditions, helping people to learn traditional skills, delving into diverse cultures or exploring a local museum collection.

You don’t have to be a heritage organisation to apply for funding. Whether your focus is community, culture, health or sport getting involved in a heritage project brings many benefits. We can provide additional support and guidance to applicants who are new to heritage and have not applied to us before.

The event is from 6 until 8pm, arrivals from 5:30 for teas, coffees and networking.

More information about the types of projects the National Lottery Heritage Fund supports can be found on our website https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/
