Event description

Description

This workshop is aimed at programme leaders and other academic staff who are heavily involved in the planning and delivery of all induction activity.

This workshop has emerged out of an induction work stream that was established in late 2016 and is endorsed by the Welcome, Registration and Induction steering group. It is the first step in establishing the new vision for an academically lead induction, owned by schools and involving all programme teams.

The workshop will include the following:

- Sharing good practice for delivering a strong induction

- Exploring the use of digital technology to support induction, including the use of voting pods, Padlet and other mobile apps

- Opportunity to audit existing practice within your programme, to share experiences and learn from others.

Refreshments will be provided.

If you have any queries about the session, please contact Karina Royden on K.D.Royden@salford.ac.uk
