About this event

Delivering Effective Feedback – with The People Choreographer

Join Rachel, founder of The People Choreographer and disruptive HR consultant, for a practical, engaging session that will take your feedback skills to centre stage. With over 25 years’ experience supporting charities and creative organisations, Rachel brings humour, pragmatism and a people-first approach to even the trickiest of workplace topics.

This one-hour session will help you master the art of giving feedback that lands – whether it’s celebrating success or addressing areas for improvement. We’ll look at how to structure feedback clearly and confidently, so your message is not only heard, but genuinely acted upon.

You’ll leave with:

  • A simple, flexible structure for giving both positive and developmental feedback
  • Insight into what makes feedback feel constructive rather than confrontational
  • Greater confidence in having those “awkward” conversations without dread

Whether you’re managing a team, working with freelancers, or just want to communicate more clearly, this session will help you step up your feedback game – and do it with compassion, clarity and impact.

About Rachel Atkinson

Rachel is the founder of The People Choreographer – a disruptive HR consultancy that helps purpose-led organisations find their rhythm and create inclusive workplaces where everyone feels able to thrive. With experience across a wide range of sectors and a specialism in charities and people-first organisations, Rachel brings a mix of pragmatism, warmth and humour to the HR world.

Whether she’s supporting leaders through change, navigating tricky conversations, or redesigning a policy so it actually makes sense, Rachel keeps people at the heart of the dancefloor. She’s also proudly backed by Clifford (Head of Security) and Frankie (Head of Happiness), the four-legged members of Team TPC who keep things grounded – and occasionally covered in dog hair.

We require you to let us know 24 hours before if you cannot make a session.

We believe that every young person should have the chance to change their life through music. Yet our research shows that many can’t because of who they are, where they’re from or what they’re going through.

Our insights, influence and investment in grassroots organisations and to young people themselves means that more 0–25-year-olds from can make, learn and earn in music.
