Delivering HR in SMEs and Branch AGM
Thu 4 May 2017, 18:15 – 20:45 BST
A buffet will be available from 1815 and the AGM meeting will start at 1845,followed by the talk at about 1915.
Small businesses have been the engine of economic growth in the UK and managing the Human Resources issues can be the key to their success. Our event on the 4th May provides an opportunity to find out about the latest research and thinking from Dr Jill Miller the CIPD Policy Advisor, who leads the first session around how to provide the right HR support at the various stages of an SME’s growth.
This will be followed by a short presentation from Jenny Bannerman, a standalone HR Manager about how she delivers HR in company with 150 employees. For the final session there will be small breakout groups each led by a local HR Consultant or standalone HR manager where an open Q&A discussion can take place.
We know the Branch supports a large number of HR practitioners who work as HR Consultants and Interim HR Managers and we hope this event will help you in your work.
If you work with SMEs then why not invite them along to the event. You can also influence the content, if you have areas you would like to see explored then email the Branch.
