The need to increase racial awareness and culturally informed student advice and guidance is greater than ever before.
The seminal report Tackling Racial Harassment Universities challenged, by the Equalities and Human rights Commission found that over 50% of students had experienced or witnessed racial harassment. With 5% leaving their studies due to racial harassment concerns not being addressed
In this session we will cover how to equip student-facing staff with the knowledge and skills to b racially aware in their approach and culturally informed in their practice.
