Event description

Description

We hope you will join us at this event, as we look to improve joint-working with partners and residents to increase the chances of making the Community Vision for Surrey in 2030 a reality.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to build momentum for this important work and help us to develop stronger relationships.

The summit will showcase best practice and learning from leaders across the country; and hopefully inspire you to think about the role you could play in enabling greater community participation in Surrey.

Speakers include:

COUNCILLOR TIM OLIVER – Leader (Surrey County Council)

ADAM LENT – Director (New Local Government Network)

CAROL DUNNETT - Chief Officer (Voluntary Action South West Surrey)

LIZ MEADE - Delivery Manager (Stronger Communities - North Yorkshire County Council)

NAT DEFRIEND - Development Manager (Participatory City Foundation)

There will also be a marketplace to learn about examples of great community projects that are in their early stages and could benefit from your support.

Once you have registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email and the option to add this event to your diary. Should you book and no longer find yourself able to attend, we would be grateful if you could release your place – to ensure another partner can attend.

Registration ends on Monday, June 3rd 2019.
