The past twelve months have seen a period of great change across and within local government, universities and the health and care sector - in terms of regulation, culture, partnerships and finance. With the Industrial Strategy placing an increasing emphasis on the need for collaborative local leadership across these sectors how should our institutions respond? Answering this question will be senior leaders with direct experience of developing strategic, cross-sector partnerships across these sectors.

Finding the ‘golden thread’ Drawing on recent work with NHS vanguards, universities and city officials from across the UK, Jonathan Schifferes will reflect on how to put ‘place’ at the centre of institutional leadership, public service design and economic development strategy. Jonathan will highlight practical tips on how to use dynamic data, and adopt a citizen-centred approach to underpin a civic mission.
