Event description

Description

Delivering Together is the next stage of the redesign of specialist mental health services in Newcastle and Gateshead. This stage of the work is focussing on services delivered in the community. There are four, week long, workshops in September and October, each focussing on a different aspect of the service:

  1. Getting help when you need it

  2. Understanding need and planning support

  3. Getting support

  4. Staying well

Healthwatch Newcastle and Healthwatch Gateshead are running ‘fringe’ events that will allow more members of the public, experts by experience, and voluntary and community sector representatives to make their voices heard and contribute to the new service design.

The first set of events looks at ‘Getting help when you need it’ and takes place in the week beginning 4 September. People can attend any one, or all, of these dates:

Monday 4 September 2017 — 5.30pm arrival (starting at 6pm) to 8pm, at Broadacre House, Newcastle

Wednesday 6 September 2017 — 5.30pm arrival (starting at 6pm) to 8pm, at Broadacre House, Newcastle

Friday 8 September 2017 — 3pm at The Angel Inn, Gateshead to hear the report of the week’s activities. To book a place at the Gateshead event go to https://gateshead-event.eventbrite.co.uk

You will also have the opportunity to contribute online. More details will be available at www.healthwatchnewcastle.org.uk and http://healthwatchgateshead.co.uk closer to the time.
