Delta Fuse is excited to officially announce the release of their 4th studio album, Blown Fuse, arriving 27th June. Written on the road during their autumn 2023 support tour with acclaimed bluesman Dom Martin, Blown Fuse marks a bold new chapter for the band, shaped by a relentless tour schedule and a deep love for blues and rock ’n’ roll. The album’s raw energy was refined during a European run through Germany, Czechia, and Slovakia, where the band received overwhelming praise from audiences.
Wasting no time, they returned home and threw themselves straight into recording, producing, and mixing the new material entirely on their own—true to their DIY roots. The album was then mastered by renowned engineer Pete Maher, whose extensive client list includes industry icons such as Jack White, The Rolling Stones, and Jimmy Page.
A tribute to the blues greats, the album features a roaring cover from legend Muddy Waters, whose influence runs deep in Delta Fuse’s gritty, soulful sound. According to the band, whose members are Jack McHale on guitar and vocals, Sandy Aiken on drums and Liam Bradley on bass, this record stands as a heartfelt love letter to the enduring legacy of blues music.
Ahead of the full release, the singles “Sweat” and “Tooth Rot Bop” have already made strong impressions on the scene, earning spots on playlists personally curated by blues icon Joe Bonamassa and earning them a support slot for the third time with their good friends The Cinelli Brothers, a testament to the band’s rising profile on the global blues scene. To celebrate the album, Delta Fuse will hit the road again this September for a Canadian tour, with festival dates across Ireland and the UK set to be announced in the coming weeks.
We are very pleased to have the amazing Hot Rod Todd bringing The Rumble Club to Bennigans Bar for this special night. Spinning everything from slick '50s rockabilly to driving deep cut '60s and '70s rock and blues.
