Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience to join?

Not at all. This space is beginner-friendly and open to all. There’s no right way to colour, reflect or share—just come as you are.

What should I bring?

A blanket is the only essential item (for warmth and comfort). Everything else is provided, including colouring books, pens and journaling prompts. You’re welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Many participants attend solo. The space is designed for quiet connection, gentle conversation or personal reflection—whatever feels right for you.

Is this suitable for neurodivergent folks or those with anxiety?

Yes. The session is sensory-led, trauma-informed and designed with gentle structure. You’re free to opt out of any activity, sit quietly or move at your own pace. The facilitator herself is neuro-spicy!

Will there be talking or group work?

There’s space for quiet conversation and optional sharing, but nothing is required. You can reflect solo or join in group moments if and when you feel ready.

Is the venue accessible?

We aim to choose venues with step-free access and quiet corners. If you have specific access needs, please contact us in advance so we can support you fully.

Can I bring snacks or drinks?

Yes, but please check with others attending before consuming common allergens (e.g. nuts, dairy, gluten) as the space and equipment are shared.

What happens to the ticket proceeds?

All proceeds are reinvested into future workshops, materials and community wellbeing initiatives. Your ticket helps sustain inclusive, creative spaces for all.

What if I feel overwhelmed or emotional during the session?

You’re welcome to step outside or away from the group if we are outside, pause or speak with a facilitator. Mental health helplines are included in the colouring books and the space is held with care. Whilst we cannot offer medical advice, we are here to listen and to direct you for support.
