Do I need to book to attend this event?

No, you don't need to book to attend, but it would be helpful if you register for the Dementia Friends Information Session.

What sort of fitness sessions are offered?

All fitness sessions are led by qualified fitness instructors and will offer exercises and activities that are suitable for all ages, abilities and fitness levels, and for people with health conditions, including dementia. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

What if I want to try bowls?

If you'd like to try your hand at bowls, just head to the bowls hall and volunteers will offer you a taster. There is a bowls wheelchair and other bowling aids available.

Where can I park my car?

Free car parking is available at Penrith Leisure Centre. You will need to register your vehicle number plate at reception. There is also free 3-hour car parking at Sainsbury's which is located next to the leisure centre.

Will refreshments be available?

Yes, there will be a free refreshment table and places to sit down for a cuppa and a chat.
