‘Thinking Differently About Dementia’

An inspiring workshop that we hope will help you:

  • Gain a basic understanding of dementia and some of its common symptoms
  • Understand how our sensory perception changes with dementia
  • Learn how to maximise well-being benefits from the outdoors

 Ideal for:

Family carers and people living with dementia

Volunteers in dementia support roles

Your views will guide our work so that we provide the right information in the right way for people living with dementia and family carers

 We would like feedback on:

  • Our current ‘Thinking Differently About Dementia’ presentation - give your views on the information and images used
  • Learn new ways to engage the senses through practical activities
  • How we may enable people living with dementia to continue to take part in outdoor activities
  • Your thoughts on the activities and support you think are needed in your area

Free tickets are available from www.eventbrite.co.uk  or book directly with Dementia Adventure on 01245 237548.
