Topics covered in the session include:

  • Recognising that dementia is a terminal condition.
  • Exploring whether dementia means a different approach to palliative care
  • Gain a better understanding of what person-centred care really means in dementia care.
  • Introduce approaches that are evidence based.

The session is available to medical staff, carers & anyone working in local care homes and social/health care to increase their understanding of frailty and its care.
