Dementia Awareness for Podiatric Practice

As a podiatrist the majority of your patients are probably over the age of 60 and therefore at a higher risk of developing dementia. Some may already be exhibiting the early signs of the condition.

  • Can you recognise these early signs of dementia?

  • Do you know the difference between Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease?

  • What are the challenges of delivering a podiatry treatment to a person with dementia?

  • Does having dementia put someone at higher risk of foot problems?

To find out more about these issues, book to attend this dementia awareness study day specifically developed for the Podiatrist. It is highly likely that this condition will affect the outcome of your care and treatments.

The study day will take place on Sunday 4th December 2016, 9:30am to 4pm at the Elstead Hotel, Knyverton Road, Bournemouth. BH1 3QP

Cost: Early bird rate before 23rd October  £ 80.35 (inclusive of VAT and booking fee) After 24th £100.61 (inclusive of VAT and booking fee)

 The fee will include full course notes, attendance certificate, refreshments throughout the day and a 3 course lunch

This event is open to all HCPC Registered Podiatrists.

The organiser will accept cancelations with a full refund up to 23rd October.  After this date a £25 administration fee will be charged for all cancelations upto 48 hours prior to the event. Cancelations after 48 hours or no-show will need to pay the full fee, however alternate delegates will be accepted.
