Do you work or volunteer with a community group or service that supports older people? Our free training can boost your ability to include and support people living with dementia.

The number of people affected by dementia in Scotland is expected to rise by 50 percent in the next two decades to 120,000. Our interactive training looks at how understand the signs and symptoms of dementia, how to communicate with people living with dementia, how best to include and support them and how to reduce the risks of developing dementia.

Training is free. Sessions are limited to 16 participants. If you are booking as part of an organisation, we would ask that you book a maximum of two spaces for members of staff. If you would like to arrange bespoke training for your organisation, please get in touch with us to discuss by emailing dementiatraining@agescotland.org.uk.

The session will take place via video conference and the joining instructions will be sent to you in advance of the session.

This course is the perfect starting point for anyone who is new to our Dementia training courses.
