Dementia Awareness Training

This training is not a traditional format. It is in parts, immersive. We therefore advise that if you have recently been affected by Dementia, emotionally, it may be better to access this training at a later date. Those who have accessed this training before have left feeling much more informed and aware about the effects of dementia to a person who has it, their family and friends.

If you have conditions such as tinnitus or suffer from migraines and vertigo, it is advised that you do not complete the immersive part of the training.

Do bring an activity/book or something to keep you busy as there will be some periods of time that will need to be filled whilst people take it in turns to complete the experience ahead of the information session/debrief.
