About this event

Claire Lashbrook, Director of Operations and Third-Party Administration at Claims Consortium

18:00 - Start

19:00 - Finish

Dementia Friends is an Alzheimer’s Society led initiative that aims to increase dementia

awareness and change the way the nation thinks, talks and acts about dementia.

A Dementia Friend is someone who has attended a one-hour information session and has committed to an action that will make the lives of people living with dementia a little bit better. Anyone of any age can be a Dementia Friend and every action counts - from helping someone to find the right bus to spreading the word about dementia on social media.

Dementia Friends - Champions are trained volunteers who encourage their family, friends, colleagues and the local community to understand a little bit more about dementia, what it’s like to live with dementia and then turn that understanding into action.

Claire is Director of Operations and Third-Party Administration at Claims Consortium Group, overseeing all claim operations, including validations, repairs and out of hours.

An expert in household claims and customer service, Claire advocates for service excellence and process innovation. Since joining the industry in 2011, she has been instrumental in challenging the status quo and driving positive changes in claim operations.

Claire is currently President of the Exeter Chartered Insurance Institute, having previously been the first Careers Officer for the institute. She is also a passionate supporter of Insurance United Against Dementia and delivers Dementia Friends awareness courses and raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
