Dementia Friends Jersey - free dementia awareness session

Specially trained Dementia Champions deliver 1-hour face-to-face awareness sessions to help people learn about what it is like to live with dementia and asks them to turn that understanding into action by helping others around them.

This may be as simple as telling others about Dementia Friends or visiting someone they know living with dementia. Every action counts!

Each session includes 5 key messages on dementia as well as activities to enhance people’s understanding of the condition. Everyone who takes part will also earn a special Dementia Friends badge.

With increased awareness and further understanding, local people can better support those living with dementia.
