We are delighted to offer Dementia Friends Training, facilitated by the Alzheimer’s Society, aimed at giving your employees the tools to look after their health and wellbeing.
Part of the UK-wide Dementia Friends initiative, this training is open to anyone who wants to learn more about dementia and find out what it’s like to live well with dementia.
Too many people affected by dementia feel that society fails to understand the condition they live with. Dementia Friends help by raising awareness and understanding, so that people living with dementia can continue to live in the way they want.
The session will cover:
- types of dementia
- signs and symptoms
- communication tips and
- small things you can do in your community to make a positive difference to people living with the condition
Each participant will receive a Dementia Friends certificate and pin-badge and be recognised as part of the Dementia Friends movement.
Please note, this training will be available on additional dates to be announced.
