Event description
An event for Catholics supporting friends or family with dementia, led by Dr Adrian Treloar.

About this event

We warmly welcome Catholics and anyone caring for someone with dementia to this afternoon led by Dr Adrian Treloar. This event will:

  • Highlight pastoral and spiritual tips in caring for a loved one with dementia.
  • Offer a chance to share your experience in a supportive environment.
  • Offer a chance for quiet prayer and reflection in St Margaret's Chapel onsite.

Dr Treloar is a consultant and senior lecturer in old-age psychiatry who has been developing and running services for people at all stages and severities of dementia for over twenty years. He is also a Catholic and will highlight the spiritual aspect of dementia care, often overlooked in mainstream health settings.

Free parking onsite. Light refreshments served. All welcome.
