NEW FOR 2016
One day masterclasses designed to address current issues in providing exemplary dementia care
Following discussions with service providers and commissioners, we are pleased to be offering a range of one day Masterclasss and half day Workshops for the forthcoming year.
Our work has identified a need to provide the opportunity for health and social care staff who are already skilled in providing expert care to people living with dementia to gain further knowledge in managing specific areas of complex care which can often be exacerbated by chronic health conditions or following trauma. Each one-day masterclass will equip attendees to recognise needs and support people living with dementia and give them the knowledge to act as a resource to others.
Of relevance to experienced staff working in any clinical or care setting who support people with dementia through acute episodes of care or over the longer term, each masterclass will build on attendees knowledge and skills, introduce them to the latest research, tools and techniques, and enable them to improve care within their organisation.
Certificates of Attendance will be provided and attendees will have the opportunity of preparing evidence for personal professional portfolios during the day.
