About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join us for the launch of 'I just want to be able to dance', a new report that calls for a fresh focus on supporting people living with dementia through connection, community, and personalised care.

The findings, grounded in conversations with people, offer a hopeful vision for what’s possible, alongside practical recommendations for what needs to happen to enable more people to live their life their way.

In this one-hour webinar, we’ll explore:

  • Experiences of people living with dementia
  • Key findings and messages with report authors Neil Crowther and Liz Leach Murphy
  • Examples of care and support that help people to live well with dementia

This is an hour to imagine a better future and to learn from what’s already working.

For this project, we're working in partnership with Dementia Change Action Network (DCAN).
