About this event

Government • Non-partisan

For politics to work for people like us, it has to include people like us. Do elections lead to the most representative group of decision-makers and the best outcomes for society? Could Democratic Lotteries and Citizens' Assemblies create a fairer system of representation and make politics work for everybody?

Rich will kick off with a 20-minute talk, leaving lots of time for questions, answers and great debates!

Rich Rippin is a Project Manager at Sortition Foundation where he works to support Citizens' assemblies - bringing together people from all across our communities to tackle challenging problems with the "wisdom of crowds".
