Event description

Description

11th July 09:30 – 16:00 Demonstrating Impact & Social Value

Effectively demonstrating your impact and value to your key stakeholders such as donors, grant makers, partners, trustees, media and staff is essential for securing ongoing support for your work.

Making a difference to the lives of individuals, communities, animals and/or the environment is probably the reason why your charity was established, so how can you show that you are making a real difference in order to build trust, rapport and credibility for your services? This course will provide you with a range of tools and best practice tips to ensure that you are effectively measuring and communicating the difference you make to donors, funders and supporters.

Target Audience

This course will benefit anyone who would like to develop and improve their charity’s approach to measuring and communicating their impact, whether you are delivering services, managing projects or services, or in a fundraising role.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Develop an impact measurement system for their charity which considers inputs, outputs and outcomes.
  • Use simple yet effective measurement tools to gather evidence of their impact.
  • Analyse the information gathered to identify key impacts and the difference their organisation makes.
  • Consider how to assess and demonstrate social value
  • Communicate their impact and value effectively.
