The recruitment process can throw up challenging, time-sensitive scenarios like these - which many candidates find hard to respond in the moment. This online session is offered as a forum for research staff to have their burning recruitment questions answered, in order to feel better prepared for the process.

Through a live Q&A format, you will have the opportunity to:

Ask seasoned recruiters for their advice on how to navigate the end-to-end recruitment process
Appreciate key differences between applying for roles within and beyond academia, and to effectively present yourself to potential employers
Come prepared with your ‘panic room’ questions – we’ll be glad to answer them and demystify the process!

Speakers

Kerry McElroy is the Stakeholder Development Manager for Prosper. Her role is to build stakeholder relationships and accelerate the roll-out of Prosper across UK Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Kerry has eight years of experience in talent attraction and development within global institutions like Blackstone and Morgan Stanley.

Kadeem Houson is the Chief Executive Officer working at Kea Consultants - a boutique search firm operating exclusively in the alternative investment space in Europe. Kadeem joined the firm as an intern straight from university and became Kea’s CEO after 10 years. Kea brings a wealth of experience to the role, having progressed through the research and consulting tracks in the business before taking on his leadership position.

Sarah Hodgkinson is the Account Director for Recruitment Outsourcing at Robert Walters – a global talent solutions business. Sarah has over 17 years working in various recruitment positions which have contributed to where she is today. Sarah leads a team which aims to drive recruitment for permanent and temporary hiring across a range of specialist industries.
