This is great news for all the companies within SETsquared Surrey as have our own dedicated International Trade Adviser, John Goldsbrough.

John has over 30 years of export experience, with a focus on sales & marketing for multinational companies. He started his career in textiles before moving into financial services, living & working in Brazil, Germany, and Canada, operating B2B & B2C. Prior to becoming an ITA, John worked as a Commercial Officer for DIT in Portugal, attached to the British Embassy, Lisbon.

There exists a broad range of services offered by the Department for International Trade, including trade missions, exhibition grants, and export seminars; as well as local research from our global network of British Embassies and Consulates.

Typically, John can offer an export ‘health check’ including company USPs and competitors; which target markets and entry strategies to prioritise; which potential barriers or risks may exist (e.g. political, legal, financial, cultural) and what global social media marketing strategy needs to be implemented.
