About this event
In recent months the Ministry of Justice have been running competitive tendering across the country for providers of Dependency and Recovery services.
We are pleased to announce that Change Grow Live have been successful in securing funding for 4 areas in England (West Midlands, South Yorkshire, Hampshire and Kent, Surrey and Sussex) and are now looking to recruit staff to join dedicated multi-disciplinary teams.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals and friendly faces to help support people in leading healthier lives and breaking the cycle of crime and substance use.
Your focus will be on engaging with people who have a history of offending and substance misuse and have been assessed as been suitable for the Dependency and Recovery programme. You will have some experience of engaging with individuals with multiple and/or complex needs and demonstrate a determined approach to finding solutions.
Services delivered will be harm reduction information, brief interventions, group programmes and referral into structured treatment if required.
You will have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you will be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.
If you would like to find out more, Change Grow Live have organised 3 online recruitment sessions where Change Grow Live staff will explain more about the role, Change Grow Live as an organisation and how to apply.
