Depicting Landscape in Art: Spring - Henfield (100337035)
Overview
Tutor: Danny McBride
Weather permitting, You'll spend a little time on Woods Mill Nature Reserve making observational tonal sketches and gathering colour notes from the vibrant new growth around you. This time outdoors will help you attune to the tones and colours that define the spring landscape.
Back in the studio, you’ll learn how to develop your sketches into a thoughtful composition, working step by step toward a small finished painting. Whether you’re just beginning your artistic journey or seeking inspiration for a new season of painting, this workshop offers a joyful and focused space to deepen your skills and bring the spring landscape to life.
Danny McBride is an artist and designer, living in Shoreham by Sea, and draws much of his inspiration from the Sussex countryside. He strongly believes in the benefits of spending time in nature and his classes are safe spaces where participants can focus on enjoying the process and developing their observational skills rather than creating the perfect finished piece.
Previous attendees on Danny's art workshops have said:
" Danny is a great teacher and he ran a really well structured session ... all in a very supportive and kind atmosphere. An excellent course!"
This session is one of four art workshops that Danny will be running over the Winter months and can be booked as a stand alone session or as part of a series.
