This event is from 10am - 4pm on Wednesday 14 March 2018. 


This conference gives corporate deputy directors of nursing in NHS trusts and foundation trusts the opportunity to participate in a focused careers day, offering a wide range of interactive sessions surrounding the skills required to be an exemplary deputy director of nursing.

During the day you will have the opportunity to network with peers and participate in sessions focusing on:

  • Leadership role of the Deputy Director of Nursing
  • How to be a resilient Deputy Director of Nursing
  • What does an outstanding Deputy look like from the Executive team perspective
  • BME leadership
  • Compassionate leadership
  • Job satisfaction and the multigenerational workforce
  • The support available to a Deputy Director of Nursing

There will be contributions from Ruth May, Executive Director of Nursing, NHS Improvement, Jane Cummings, Chief Nursing Officer NHS England, Yvonne Coghill WRES lead at NHS England and a range of senior executives from provider organisations.

This is a free event to attend. Initially we are offering one delegate ticket per trust.
