Following on from our last session and the feedback received from our successful Dermoscopy evening, Spire Hull and East Riding are excited to invite you to an evening on Psoriasis, covering a range of information that will help you identify the different types and presentations of the condition. This will include what to look out for and consider, indicators for referral and management techniques.
This evening is being hosted by dermatologist Professor Shernaz Walton, who regularly sees patients for psoriasis, as well as a range of other conditions including eczema and dermatitis, skin cancer, mole & skin tag removal, and acne. Prof Walton has restructured the dermatology service in Hull, emphasising the development of community clinics, specialist clinics, leg ulcer and lump and bump clinics, helping to drastically reduce wait times.
Prof Walton has a deeply committed interest to teaching and sharing learning with people across the healthcare spectrum, including GPs, ANPs, nurses and all variety of clinical staff in Primary Care. Whether you are a fresh face when it comes to dermatology, or if you are looking for advice or refining your technique or want to share a case from your practice, all are welcome.
As a part of the evening, a buffet dinner will be provided for all attendees.
This session is tailored for a UK GP and HCP audience, and is CPD accredited.
