This is a two day initial training course to support those staff becoming a DSL or DDSL within an educational setting. The training will cover in detail the statutory requirements including the role of a DSL. The course will support the knowledge around safeguarding themes, both familial abuse and contextual safeguarding. It also suggests ways to support the evidencing of safeguarding practice in schools as well as the maintaining and monitoring of pupil safeguarding concerns.
