Desi Central audience favourite and regular host Patrick Monahan brings high energy comedy style with hilarious and engaging topical and observational material.
Eshaan Akbar has established himself as an act with exciting potential. Winner of the Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year 2016, Eshaan has been in the finals of other prestigious competitions. He performs worldwide & his professional career has taken him from private banking through to corporate communications via a career in local government public policy.
Guz Khan is an Actor, Writer and Stand-up Comedian from the notoriously gangster city that is Coventry.
He first came to prominence through his comedic online videos which were performed in the guise of various characters that he created. He coined the stage name Guzzy Bear and addressed many social issues through this vessel. Guz made his stand-up comedy debut and continues to work on solo projects and writing and appearing in several comedy adverts commissioned by various charities in the UK.
Guz Khan is one of the most naturally funny and gifted performers that this country has. He has a wide range of comedic characters and life experiences which come to life due to his superb command of a plethora of accents from around the world. His ability to convey a story is refreshing and exciting.
Prince Abdi ** BACK BY DEMAND **
Abdi was born in Somalia and immigrated to the United Kingdom.
Originally a primary school teacher, Abdi performed free comedy shows for a lengthy period to establish himself on the stand-up circuit. Since this time he has performed at some of the more established comedy clubs in all over the universe.
Abdi's comedy style has been described as original, confident, refreshing, pacy, upbeat, and infectious. Reviews of his stand-up performances have also emphasised his connection with the audience.
