Design for User Tendencies Workshop - Food Waste
Overview
Join us on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 14:00 PM at the Room LDS140, Design School Building, Loughborough University to experience generating ideas for sustainable behavior change using Design for User Tendencies ideation tool.
In this engaging design workshop we will explore how behaviors that contribute to household food waste can be influenced toward more sustainable directions by designing with user tendencies in mind. Open to undergraduate and postgraduate design students as well as design researchers, this workshop will guide you through quick ideation exercises and critical reflections on how user behaviors influence reducing food waste. Together, we’ll experiment with Design for User Tendencies ideation tool to turn behavioral insights into creative and responsible design directions.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in behavior-focused design, explore real-world sustainability challenges around food waste and connect with a community of designers and researchers who are passionate about designing for sustainable change.
Looking forward to a fun day of creativity and design experimentation with you!
