Description
A night of talks from the research team of the Centre for Design Informatics in response to POWELL + MEHRPOUYA’s Thinking Machine, part of The Palace of Forgetting exhibition at the Warburton Gallery. The team will look at the changing landscapes of cities, as if Patrick Geddes’ Outlook Tower was a looking glass in to the future.

The Palace of Forgetting is the first collaboration between Robert Powell and Hadi Mehrpouya, an artist with a background as a software engineer and computer programmer. Encompassing both new and traditional media, the show focuses on the construction and manipulation of knowledge and its relation to questions of power and control.
