Design problem definition and concept generation workshop

Within the design workshop you will be shown techniques of how you can effectively define a problem and then how to address it by generating innovative ideas to solve them.

Problem Definition

This is about learning techniques that are often used to reflect on the importance of understanding problems. Attendees will learn how to apply principles such as:

• Understanding the problem (What, Who, How and Why)

• Root cause analysis map (5 why's)

• Defining a problem statement

• Defining a target

Concept Generation and Evaluation

How to take the problem and target definitions generated in the first half and applying techniques for generating innovate ideas, applying new tools for concept selection.

Attendees will learn how to apply principles such as:

• Understanding the Double Diamond

• How to ideate via brainstorming

• Criteria definition

• Down selection and evaluation (via demonstration)

Please join us for a networking lunch where you will have the opportunity to speak to like-minded businesses from the Wrexham area, the AMRC Cymru team and representatives from Wrexham University who have offered to give tours of their brand new Enterprise, Engineering and Optics Centre (EEOC) campus facility.

Gweithdy diffinio problemau dylunio a chynhyrchu cysyniadau

Mae AMRC Cymru yn cynnal gweithdy yn y Ganolfan Menter, Peirianneg ac Opteg newydd ym Mhrifysgol Wrecsam, sy’n cael ei ariannu drwy Gronfa Ffyniant Gyffredin Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam.

Yn y gweithdy dylunio, dangosir technegau i chi o ran sut y gallwch ddiffinio problem yn effeithiol ac yna sut i fynd i'r afael â hi drwy gynhyrchu syniadau arloesol i'w datrys.

Diffinio'r Broblem:

Mae hyn yn ymwneud â thechnegau dysgu a ddefnyddir yn aml i fyfyrio ar bwysigrwydd deall problemau. Bydd y rhai sy'n bresennol yn dysgu sut i gymhwyso egwyddorion fel:

• Deall y broblem (Beth, Pwy, Sut a Pham)
• Map dadansoddi gwraidd y broblem (y 5 ‘pam’)
• Diffinio datganiad problem
• Diffinio targed
  

Cynhyrchu a Gwerthuso Cysyniadau:

Sut i fynd i’r afael â’r broblem a thargedu diffiniadau a gynhyrchwyd yn yr hanner cyntaf a chymhwyso technegau ar gyfer cynhyrchu syniadau arloesol, gan gymhwyso offer newydd ar gyfer dewis cysyniadau. Bydd y rhai sy'n bresennol yn dysgu sut i gymhwyso egwyddorion fel:

• Deall y Diemwnt Dwbl
• Sut mae meddwl am syniadau drwy daflu syniadau
• Diffiniad o'r meini prawf
• Mireinio'r dewis a'r gwerthuso (drwy ddangos)
