A five-week problem-solving course using Design Thinking methods to address any challenge and come up with creative solutions.

About this event

What is Design Thinking?

Design Thinking is a solution-based process and mindset that brings focus to the problem and the people affected, involves experimentation and enhances creativity and innovation.

We teach Design Thinking in collaboration with Tallinn University in our MSc Interaction Design (www.idmaster.eu). This course includes material from our MSc. Also check out our Design Explorations initiative explorations.cyprusinteractionlab.com

Looking to “think outside of the box?”

We will reveal what the box is and the tools to break it in this 5-week session.

Our course is a deep immersion into selected Design Thinking principles and methods. It includes the best highlights from our past 5 years teaching in workshops in Vancouver, Las Vegas, Orlando, Milano and Boston and at our online MSc Interaction Design.

This is for you if you:

  • Need more efficient ways to brainstorm and come up with ideas.
  • Think there are better ways to do things but can’t find your way there.
  • Have writer’s block/white screen/blank page fear.
  • Want to transform your organisation by introducing new ways of things or scrapping what doesn’t work
  • Seek positive ways to manage a diverse team and find consensus among conflicting opinions

Or if you have the following titles/roles:

  • Manager
  • Facilitator
  • Startup founder
  • Designer
  • Marketeer
  • Creative

Suitable for solving problems in design, business, engineering, technology, education etc.

Bring your own problem to solve or you will tackle one of our pre-set challenges.
