In this vibrant, hands-on, creative session, participants will design and paint their own reusable tote bag with psychedelic patterns, bold colours, and playful textures.
The workshop will have a relaxed vibe and we welcome everyone and all abilities. Our guest artist, Jasmin Issaka, will introduce 'Afro-psychedelic art', ideas of self-expression, colour therapy, and provide lots of psychedelic design inspiration. Everyone leaves with their own maserpiece!
The session will encourage people to play with their ideas, doodle and explore shapes and colours and how they can make a design really 'pop' before transposing it to a cotton tote bag.
What's included:
We'll provide the bags, fabric paints and markers, and we'll have a variety of stencils and sponges too for those less confident or less dextrous.
Please note the markers are permanent so we will provide aprons but you will need to take care with your clothes.
Open to all ages. Recommended age 5+, all children to be accompanied by an adult.
Access:
