About this Event

This is a 5 day course run over a year to support schools to identify and train a designated mental health lead as identified in the Green Paper, Transforming Children and Young People's Mental Health Provision. This course aims to provide knowledge and skills for the individual attending whilst providing them with resources to support practice and develop policy in their schools. It promotes a ‘whole school wellbeing’ approach to mental health, looking at whole school systems and promoting simple strategies for looking after each other.

What difference will the course make?

Staff and students will benefit from a positive wellbeing ethos promoted at all times and know where to go if they require further support and help.
