About this Event
Pre-Requisite Knowledge (required to attend course):
This is training is aimed at experienced DSL's who have previously completed the full training and aims to update, refresh and build on existing knowledge and skills. For Leicestershire Leicester and Rutland /UK practitioners
Session Aims: Training is fully compliant with Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018, Keeping Children Safe in Education 2019 and our Local Safeguarding Children's Partnership procedures.
In addition to refreshing and updating existing knowledge and skills the course focuses on key themes and current issues, recent safeguarding learning and the effective ongoing management of a safe system.
The course is interactive and uses a variety of approaches. It is intentionally flexible so as to allow participants to raise issues of particular interest or concern.
Session Objectives:
Delegates should be able to apply the knowledge into practice around the areas of responsibility in their role as DSL .
