Designated Safeguarding Lead Refresher 9am - 4pm on 5th June 2025

Building on our experience & success of delivering training for DSLs over a number of years, we are delighted to offer a hugely interactive day which will not only refresh DSLs’ knowledge but also stimulate their thinking and inspire them to grow & develop the culture of safeguarding children in their settings. Delegates will:

 receive updates on statutory guidance applying to DSL role in education

 understand local changes in safeguarding referral and practice [Warks]

 reflect on the safeguarding implications of Covid-19 & lockdown

 build on learning about safeguarding practice & development shared at previous DSL training

 explore case studies to help them identify action to take in respect of additional areas of safeguarding
