Event description

Description

Presenter: Dr Aimee Blackledge, LDC Development Team

This half-day workshop is for PGRs who would like to explore how they can design and embed public engagement into their current research projects. It is also for anyone who wishes to learn more about the Design Thinking process. Together we will explore how to empathise and define the public you wish to collaborate with, generate new ideas, explore how building a prototype model will help you better understand your idea. You will also have time to refine and test your idea with your peers. It is highly recommended that you take the webinar ‘Introduction to Public Engagement’. By the end of the workshop, you will have an actionable process for initiating your own public engagement plan.

This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains: A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, C2, D3, D2, and D1.

Registration: You are recommended to use your university of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
