Event description

Description

Presenter: Dr Aimee Blackledge, LDC Development Team

This workshop provides time and space for you to design a ‘concrete experience’ that fosters the transformation and development described in David Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle. You will learn the advantages of different types of experiences and during the workshop you will design, share and reflect on an exercise that you have devised. We will also explore methods of facilitating exercises.

You are strongly recommended to attend the webinar, ‘Introduction to Facilitation in the Research Environment’ prior to your attendance at this workshop. This workshop is open to all and also contributes to the programme of workshops available for those applying for the Development Tutor Scheme.

This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains D1, D2 and D3.

Registration: You are recommended to use your university of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
