Designing for Connection: A Sociotechnical Approach
In this session, Caitlin Begg explores how sociotechnical design can help organizations create workplaces where technology supports—rather than overwhelms—human connection. Grounded in four modern principles of sociotechnical design, the webinar will examine how physical and digital environments can be shaped to foster connection, collaboration, and communication. Drawing on concepts like ‘non-place,’ psychogeography, and hypercommunication, Caitlin offers a fresh perspective on place design and relationship-based work.
