As part of World Green Building Week 2015, Greengage Environmental LLP will host a breakfast briefing looking at how designing for health and wellbeing is becoming increasingly important for businesses and those that have a long term investment in developments.
With the introduction of the Private Rented Sector (PRS) and institutional investors being attracted to this, the need for well designed and operated buildings as well as public realm plays a bigger role in ensuring returns on investment.
For businesses the health and wellbeing of its staff has an immediate impact on the financial return and operations. Well designed and operated buildings – either residential or commercial – is now a key decision during the planning stages.
We will be looking at the drivers, the players and the case for (and against) designing for health and wellbeing.
